US MOTION’s lineup of optical distance measurement sensors represent our most popular series of tools with a significant base of these precision measurement devices installed at customer sites throughout the world.
Our optical (non-contact) sensors are used to measure distance, height, spacing and angle. These tools employ a unique triangulation-based methodology utilizing LED’s, precision lenses, laser diodes, line arrays and light paths to produce highly precise and repeatable measurements. Customized for the particular environment, our sensors are typically contained in a small, compact and efficient package which mounts easily for applications with limited space.
